Introduction[]
A beast who casts no shadow, Arapaho 'Oldestar' Maliseet has a number of interesting qualities. A strict vegan, a pacifist with the exception of self defense, and now an artist. The saying ‘Mind over Matter’ and ‘As Above so Below’ are key points in his lifestyle, preferring to keep an active and fit body and mindfulness in the will of balance.
Maliseet has been a revolutionary since his debut in April of 2015, and greatly active in the wild realm of Elysium ever since. He now has seen over seven years of thrilling roleplay from political disputes, to otherworldly invaders, meditative introspective journeys, and a whole lot more. Many have come to find themselves brushed by Arapaho’s dynamic presence in some form or another.
Once, The Elder had said: “I once knew a King like yourself. His name… oh, Arapaho Maliseet, if I recall it correctly. Great soul. Strong, faithful, diligent. It is so good to see these qualities strung together as so in another man.” when speaking to Mavverik Allacrone.
Appearance[]
Oldestar is a towering ex-Paladin, and from horn-to-hooves is absolutely covered in brutal scars and other lasting artifacts of intense combat. Bovine and vascular in appearance, and a truly intimidating figure - though a gentle giant once interacted with. A surprising juxtaposition to many who meet him.
Personality[]
Arapaho, as said, is a gentle giant. He seeks to understand before being understood and leads others to their own personal greatness. He seeks to live by virtuous values and kindness to all - for, you can’t always fight fire with fire. But make absolutely no foolish mistake. If you poke at the beast, you’ll be swiftly subject to his unwavering violent wrath.
A stoic figure disciplined by adversity, time, and self-discovery, It is outright obvious that Arapaho tackles whatever issues with elegant strategy, preferring to take an objective and holistic view to all conflicts internal, external, big, or small.
The core of Maliseet’s aesthetic lies within the cosmos and the light, hence the name, Oldestar. Originally very devout to the sun, that love evidently expanded to the other stars themselves which pierce through the night sky above. Constellations speak to the curious creature, and galactic bodies provide astral solace to him. A stream of consciousness into the ether that is divination.
